About The Tour
Gokarna is the perfect getaway for nature, landscape, and photography enthusiasts. Its dramatic coastline, golden beaches, rocky cliffs, swaying palms, and stunning sunsets offer endless opportunities for creative photography.
Beyond the popular beaches, we will explore lesser known corners of the coast, looking for unique compositions, dramatic seascapes, and beautiful golden hour moments.
The real showstopper? The coastline itself. From rugged cliffs and secluded beaches to waves crashing against ancient rock formations, every location offers a new perspective.
We will also explore Astrophotography opportunities along the coast, capturing the Milky Way and Star Trails against unique seascapes and cliffs. The USP is the rare opportunity to combine the night sky with dramatic coastal landscapes.
This workshop is about experiencing and photographing Gokarna beyond the postcard views.

Anushtup is an award winning astrophotographer featured on NASA APOD, Sony, AAPOD2, Astronomy Magazine, Top 20 in 35Awards 2025, Nat Geo and Sky & Telescope, specializing in tracked Milky Way imaging and advanced post processing, with recent hands on work in telescope based planetary imaging through collaboration with Pie Matrix.
Shahrukh Sohel is an acclaimed landscape photographer with major international accolades including Top 35 Landscape and Top 20 in 35Awards 2025, NISI India Contest Winner, Epson Pano Awards Silver, and Refocus Honourable Mention, with strong expertise in composition and post processing.
Important Points to Consider
Internal transportation will be arranged on self driven scooties. If you are comfortable riding, you can ride yourself or travel as a pillion with another participant. Allocation will depend on the number of riders and available scooties, so everyone is requested to cooperate and coordinate with the group.
Scooty and fuel costs will be fully covered by us.
Standard vegetarian and non vegetarian meals will be provided, typically including rice, noodles, or breads along with an average of two shareable side dishes. We kindly request participants to note that any fancy, premium, or exotic food items are not included and may be ordered separately at their own expense.
Since it will be costal region, expect humid weathers. Carrying Silica Gel is recommended for camera.
Recommended Items to Carry
Dry fit clothes, comfortable shorts, and suitable footwear for beach activities.
Caps or hats, sunscreen, and ORS or hydration packs to stay comfortable and hydrated throughout the trip.
Drink sufficient amounts of water and try to avoid smoking.
Excessive consumption of alcohol can pose health risks. Please be cautious.
Payment Policy
A deposit of ₹19999 is required to confirm your reservation for the workshop.
Refund Policy : If the participant cancels the trip before 1st September, 2026, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
No Refund : If the participant cancels the trip on or after 1st September, no refund will be issued.
