Vistacio 3.0 Exhibition

Day 1

From lifting frames to curating the perfect layout, it took over 3 hours just to mount all 230 photographs, each thoughtfully arranged according to their category sections across the gallery walls. Every placement, angle, and spotlight was chosen with care, so the exhibition wouldn’t just be seen, but felt.

Phase 0 : THE PREPARATION

Though the exhibition opened at 3 PM, the real work began much earlier. The team arrived 5–6 hours prior, navigating through clutter and chaos to set up everything.

Gruelling and exhausting, the transformation was anything but easy—but by showtime, the gallery stood spotless and poised, ready to speak for itself.

One of the most crucial tasks was tagging each photograph with its respective participant’s name—a process that demanded precision under pressure. With no room for error and time running out, it was the dedication of our tireless volunteers that made it possible. Their effort ensured every frame found its rightful voice.

Phase 1 : INAGURATION

The inauguration of our exhibition Vistacio The Third, or Vistacio 3.0 as it’s commonly referred in our team, was started by cutting red ribbon by our esteemed guests.

Eminent guests namely Subhradeep Jashu, Sounak Dutta, Dr Anjan Sarkar, Sombit Dey were present as our Special Guests in the exhibition.

To stand with “Green Earth Movement” we had decided to felicitated all the guests by handing them over Chinese Tagar sapling.

Phase 2 : FELICITATION

Some candid moments from in and around the gallery, where visitors wandered through the space, paused to admire the frames, and shared stories or interpretations with friends and fellow enthusiasts.

A glimpse into Masai Mara through the eyes of veteran wildlife photographer Dr Anjan Sarkar, as he shared stories from his unforgettable safari experience.

Phase 3 : SPEECH

Renowned portrait photographer Sombit Dey delved into the art of indoor lighting and how it shapes powerful visual narratives.

From the calm of the Botanical Garden to the thrill of a bird in flight, Subhradeep Jashu shared his rich journey in bird photography.

An intense but incredible moment from the Sundarbans, Sounak Dutta recounted his gripping encounter with a tiger deep in the mangroves.

We wrapped up with a deep dive into the mystical world of Astrophotography, hosting a much-anticipated session led by Light N Lens co-founder, Anushtup Roy Choudhury.

Phase 4 : ASTRO - ADDA

Day 2

We were fortunate to have internationally renowned camera brand Nikon as our equipment partner, and even more inspired by a powerful photo-session led by Nikon Technical Officer Soumyajit Maitra.
